Jackie Clarke Collection

In 2005 Sinéad began collating Jackie Clarke's unlisted and unsorted collection. Today the collection has been discovered recognised as one of the most important archives of Irish material in the world. Spanning over 400 years of Irish history of 100,000 items amassed by Jackie Clarke during his lifetime (1927-2000). It first item dates to 1617. The former provincial bank in Ballina designed by one of Ireland best known architects Thomas Manly Deane, houses the collection. The exhibition is a multi media experience with the last technology suitable for all ages. won the Irish Design Institute, Exhibition Design award in 2013. See: www.clarkecollection.ie
